"I discovered Mikelle's magic soon after she started the moon ceremonies, back in 2018 or
2019, I think? Working with her sustained me through the isolation of covid, as I did everything from yoga in the park to 1-1 emotional alchemy sessions. These meditations, and all the other work, have been a huge part of my recovery and figuring out how to handle life sober."

Sonya
âI've always had this pull towards Mikelle. I finally got the courage to do something about the grief, despair and depression that have had me swirling the last few years. So grateful to be involved with her groups now!â

Â
My name is Mikelle, Iâm a trauma educated healer and guide.
Since the 90âs Iâve studied, practice, and now weave many modalities within Psychology, Eastern Philosophies, Mythology, Astrology, and more; to curate individual healing journeys, walking others home to realizing their magic and wholeness.
Iâve been initiated into and through trauma and cataclysmic transformations many times, each time rising again and bringing back more tools to recover and weave into greater integrity of being-ness.
In 2017 I started a new path, more formally studying and teaching the healing arts. By 2020 I was being called by my community into 1:1s for my wisdom and despite much self-doubt, finally stepped fully and solely onto the path of healer and guide. Since then I have lead hundreds to new awakenings, guided thousands of hours in meditation, moon rituals, alchemy healing sessions, illuminations via astrology and more.
Iâm honored to be guiding yet another new way home via this connective book club and Iâm ecstatic to be collaborating with my distant cousin Franziska all the way from Berlin.

Â
My name is Franziska, I'm a trauma informed placeholder and facilitator, truly magical and curious spiritual being and deeply empathic practitioner of ancient traditions, constantly growing and evolving through my own process of reclaiming my own individual femininity.

-Each week we will be assigning a chapter or section to read on our own then gathering on zoom to discuss what our experiences in reading it were.
-Most weeks will include meditations and reflections to help us integrate and embody our experiences.
-The goal is to become a loving witness for each person in the group to share authentically, wether it be good, bad, beautiful ugly, we practice honoring the truth of each experience and expressions of it.
-We hope to gather for 8 weeks to begin with and after the first 2 months we can reassess if we want to continue or readjust etc. We may or may not finish the book but the goal is connection and authentically shared experiences via this psychological and mythological masterpiece by Mrs Estes
Â
Â
What will each week entail?
Â
Week 1 - This will be a casual gathering to introduce the book and further discuss and express our mission in meeting, discuss the weeks ahead, as well as get our group members introduced and connected with a few casual âget to know you questionsâ. We will set some intentions and journal to remember and reflect in the end.
Weeks 2 and 5 - We will begin with a grounding meditation then share and discuss our honest experience with the chapter/section. We will offer some journaling reflections to either write together in the group or take home for the week depending on the timing.
Weeks 3 and 6 - We will discuss the new sections, share experiences, and share about the journaling prompts and what came up for us in those reflections. The format for sharing is not for advice giving it is simply to become that compassionate witness for our fellows and practice deep listening and holding space. Closing with meditation.
Week 4 and 7 - We will discuss the new sections and this week we will add a deeper somatic embodied meditation and experience for ourselves to become a loving witness and learn to hold that compassionate space within our own body and bones. Learning to listen to the bones as Clarissa expresses in her books, beginning to understand the wisdom in our magically divine and earthly bodies.
Week 8 - We will discuss again and share our experiences throughout the week and with the book as well as look back at our journey with each other and share our biggest take aways. If the group wants to continue we can set another time and/or close out our amazing experiences. Either way wrapping with gratitude and solidifying our new found connections within and with each other

We founded this book club because, in the book Women Who Run with the Wolves, we find everything we, as women in this world, painfully miss and so deeply need. Because it speaks to parts, that we buried deep within our soulsâespecially on a physical level. And because it gives us the opportunity to reconnect with our original femininity, to explore our wild core, and to make peace with the those parts of ourselves we have banished.
We live in a time where, as women and as human beings in general, we often lose touch with ourselves and with others. We frequently feel confused about the roles we are expected to play in society. More and more women are rejecting traditional gender roles of the past. We ask ourselves: What does it mean to be a female being? How can I live in harmony with my female body? What does it mean to be a deeply cyclical being in a modern world? What are the teachings and rituals of the Wolf Womenâthe women who have been forgotten in our history, whose wisdom was no longer passed down?
The space we are creating here is a space where we can explore these questions. A safe space that allows us to reconnect with our feminine origins. Here, we have the opportunity to talk about our experiences, feelings, and thoughts on âhow does it feel to be a woman in this world?â. Through this, we learn to connect with our bodies againâto feel what it means to be authentic. Because only when we are authentic, we feel truly alive and able to express and embody our feminine essence.
To do this, we need a vessel larger than our own nervous system. We will practice what it means to be lovingly and curiously present. To allow our experiences to be witnessed and to feel how, through this process, healing takes place within usâhow we can transform and integrate difficult and painful experiences. As human beings, we are equipped with a nervous system that needs other nervous systemsâthe presence of other human beingsâin order to regulate itself. Only then can we learn new things and have new experiences that help us grow and strengthen our authenticity.
And this is what women have always done. They gathered in womenâs circles to hold space for one another. To collectively feel and transform emotions like grief, anger, and pain. Womenâs circles were once part of emotional hygiene in our culture. They made it possible for women to learn how to move through overwhelming feelings and to practice holding space for others so they could do the same. Because we, as feminine beings, are the embodiment of a vessel. We are made to transform. Through our wombs, we cyclically experience life and death, creation and dissolutionâan eternal cycle of transformation.
In our modern society, we are no longer taught how to live in harmony with this gift. Instead, we learn to dissociate from our bodies and reject them. We no longer gather in womenâs circles to uplift each other and celebrate our individuality, our authenticity. Instead, we perceive each other as competitorsâwe mistrust one another and feel envious of each other.
The patriarchy, in which men are at the center of society and daily life is structured around their needs, teaches us as women to define ourselves by our place at menâs side. We are housewives, mothers, virgins, wivesâroles that define us to the positions we are given in a world designed for men, where our purpose is to serve them. But what is our understanding of womanhood when we step out of these roles and reclaim our place in the circle of women? Who are we beneath the painful, distorted lens through which society views us? What does it mean to be present with our needs and bring them into connection? What does it mean to truly be in connection? And what happens to us when we lose that connection?
Â
With this book club we  want to bring the tradition of a women circle back to live and give every one of you the chance to learn about the magic of holding space, practicing loving presence and witnessing and to grow the inner capacity to be with uncomfortable emotions and let your body guide you trough the wilderness oft he female experience.
Â
We will do so by talking about the core messages oft he chapters of the book âWomen who run with the wolvesâ. Weâll share what we felt and experienced while reading them. Youâll learn how to stay in touch with your body, while you share and practice connection and intimacy throught whitnessing your emotions. Each session weâll introduce new embodyment practices and there will be space and opportunity to create deep and meaningful conversations. Youâll get to know women from all walks of life and weâll practice how to uplift and support each other.
In this space we donât judge, we do not give unsolicited advice and we will practice to be honest with ourselves. Weâll look at ourselves and others with curiosity and tolerence and if we find ourselves struggeling with that, weâll adress it in a respectful way. Weâll dance and move together, weâll practice compassion and a loving gaze for our own bodies and the stories they tell.
Weâll create a space for women to grow into their wild skins again and sing for their lovely bones.
